Job Description
Job Brief: We are seeking a responsible, disciplined, and experienced Store Incharge to manage day-to-day store operations. The candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, inward/outward documentation, stock monitoring, and coordination with site execution and procurement teams to ensure smooth project operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain proper records of construction materials, tools, machinery, and consumables.
- Handle systematic inward and outward entries of all materials and equipment.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and inform Management/Purchase Department regarding shortages or reorder requirements.
- Verify incoming materials against Purchase Orders (PO), invoices, delivery challans, and approved specifications.
- Prepare and maintain:
- GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)Material Issue SlipsGate PassesStock RegistersDaily Inventory Reports
- Coordinate effectively with Site Engineers, Vendors, Contractors, Transporters, and Purchase Department.
- Ensure proper storage, stacking, safety, identification, and tracking of materials within the store premises.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile stock records periodically.
- Prevent material wastage, pilferage, damage, and unauthorized movement of stock.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, discipline, and systematic functioning of the store area.
- Support uninterrupted site execution by ensuring timely availability of required materials.
- Maintain records of returnable/non-returnable materials and monitor material consumption patterns.
- Follow company inventory control procedures and reporting systems.
Required Skills
- Basic computer proficiency, including: MS Excel
- Inventory Management Software
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong documentation and inventory management skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate stock records.
- Strong organizational, material handling, and reporting capabilities.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
