Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Site Engineer for the execution and supervision of electrical works in hospital projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning, and site coordination of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute electrical installation works at the project site.
- Manage installation of LT panels, distribution boards (DBs), lighting systems, switches, sockets, cable trays, conduits, and power cabling.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), layouts, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and MEP teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and project schedules.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and hospital-specific electrical requirements.
- Prepare daily progress reports, material requisitions, and site documentation.
- Verify quantities and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
- Resolve site-related technical issues and provide engineering support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in hospital, healthcare, commercial, or institutional electrical projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, LT panels, distribution boards, lighting, power wiring, and earthing systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, SLDs, and schematic diagrams.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hospital electrical infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Ability to handle contractors and site teams independently.
