Job Position : Civil Site Engineer (Industrial )

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor execution of RCC works, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plaster, and related civil activities as per approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
- Check line, level, and dimensions at site; verify workmanship and materials against quality checklists for concrete, blockwork, plaster, and waterproofing.
- Plan and allocate daily work fronts to contractors and labour, track progress, and prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and supporting documentation in MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Assist in basic quantity measurements for executed work, support RA billing, and help in material reconciliation for cement, steel, concrete, blocks, and other key materials.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and site supervisors to resolve technical issues, clarify drawings, and ensure timely inspections by consultants (architect, structural, PMC).
- Implement and monitor site safety practices, housekeeping, and compliance with company HSE guidelines, especially in congested or operational industrial environments.
- Support short-term planning (weekly and monthly look-ahead schedules) using MS Excel/MS Project inputs and flag risks or delays to the senior engineer/project manager.
Must Have
Essential requirements
- B.E. Civil or Diploma in Civil Engineering with 0.5–2 years of site execution experience on building projects (internships can be considered for freshers with strong fundamentals).
- Hands-on experience in supervising RCC works, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, and masonry at site as per drawings and method statements.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings (structural and architectural) and communicate requirements clearly to contractors and workers.
- Basic knowledge of quantity measurement for daily progress, RA billing support, and material reconciliation (cement, steel, concrete, blocks).
- Familiarity with site safety practices and quality checklists for concrete, blockwork, plaster, and waterproofing.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office (Excel, Word) for daily reporting, DPRs, and maintaining site records.
- Willingness to work full-time from site in Pune with flexibility for extended hours as per site requirements.

Bonus qualifications
- Prior experience on residential or mixed-use projects with a real estate developer or reputed contractor in Pune or Maharashtra.
- Exposure to coordination with consultants (structural, architect, PMC) for inspections, RFIs, and site clarifications.
- Basic understanding of bar bending schedule (BBS) and reinforcement checking at site.
- Knowledge of IS codes relevant to concrete, reinforcement, and masonry works.
- Ability to communicate in Marathi and Hindi for effective coordination with labour and subcontractors.
