Role Overview
We are looking for a social media–focused Video Editor who understands platform behavior, hooks, retention, and pacing. Social media will be the core of your role, working across:

UGC short-form content (Reels, Shorts, Ads)

Long-form YouTube videos (8–20 mins)

Social cutdowns optimized for engagement and growth

Key Responsibilities

Edit high-performing UGC short-form videos

Create strong hooks within the first 3–5 seconds
-
Add dynamic captions, overlays, and motion text
-
Edit long-form YouTube videos with strong pacing and retention

Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form assets
-
Deliver platform-ready exports (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook)

Stay updated with social trends and editing styles
-
Manage multiple content pieces weekly
Required Experience
-
2–3 years of professional video editing experience

Strong experience working on social media content
-
Experience in both long-form and short-form editing
-
Portfolio showcasing social media work (Mandatory)
Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects (motion text & graphics)

Expertise in captions, subtitles, and fast-paced editing

Understanding of aspect ratios and social media export formats
