9 Squares is an architecture, planning, and interior design firm based in Indore, known for delivering thoughtful, context-driven design across residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We're looking for a Senior Architect to lead design development, mentor our junior team, and own projects from concept through execution.
Role: Senior Architect

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh
Experience: 5–8 years
Reporting to: Principal Architect
What you'll do:
Lead design conceptualization and development across residential, commercial, and interior projects
Prepare and review design drawings, working drawings, and construction documentation
Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and present design concepts
Liaise with structural, MEP, and other consultants for design integration
Oversee site visits and coordinate with contractors on execution
Mentor and guide junior architects and design interns
Ensure compliance with building codes, bye-laws, and approvals
Manage project timelines and flag risks proactively
What we're looking for:
✅ Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture
✅ 5–8 years of relevant experience in an architecture or design firm
✅ Strong portfolio across project types and scales
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Revit, V-Ray/Lumion a plus)
✅ Sound understanding of construction detailing and site execution
✅ COA registration preferred
