Job Summary
Grover & Grover Advocates & Solicitors is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Associate to support the firm's litigation, licensing, and regulatory compliance practice. The selected candidate will assist advocates in court matters, draft legal documents, manage licensing applications, coordinate with government departments, and interact with clients throughout the case and compliance process.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and government notifications.
- Draft legal notices, replies, plaints, written statements, affidavits, petitions, applications, and other legal documents.
- Assist senior advocates in litigation matters before District Courts, High Courts, Consumer Commissions, Tribunals, DRT, and other judicial forums.
- Prepare case files, briefs, evidence, and maintain litigation records.
- Handle filing, follow-ups, and procedural compliance with courts and government authorities.
- Prepare, file, and track applications for business licenses and registrations (FSSAI, GST, IEC, MSME, Trade License, etc.).
- Coordinate with government departments for approvals, clarifications, and status updates.
- Interact with clients, schedule meetings, obtain documents, and provide regular progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records, deadlines, and compliance calendars.
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Freshers / 0–2 years of experience.
- Good knowledge of civil, consumer, and commercial litigation procedures.
- Strong legal drafting, research, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and online government portals.
