Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and accounting records.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
- Manage export-related accounting documentation and reconciliation.
- Coordinate with banks regarding LC documentation, remittances, foreign inward payments, and bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and customer/vendor accounts.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Maintain records related to export shipments, purchase orders, and logistics payments.
- Coordinate with auditors, CHA, shipping lines, and internal departments.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting activities.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
- Minimum ___ years of experience in accounting, preferably in export/import industry.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Understanding of export documentation and banking procedures is preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling Letter of Credit (LC) transactions.
- Knowledge of foreign exchange transactions and export incentives.
- Familiarity with GST and statutory compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
