Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, network, and IT infrastructure-related issues. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to employees.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, email, and operating system issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Configure and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Install and update software, security patches, and antivirus solutions.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, warranty claims, and service support.
- Support video conferencing systems and collaboration tools.
- Assist in data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices.
- Provide timely resolution of service tickets and user requests.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Freshers with relevant certifications and strong technical knowledge may also apply.
Technical Skills
- Windows 10/11 and Windows Server administration.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook support.
- Active Directory user management.
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Printer and peripheral support.
- Remote desktop support tools.
- Basic cybersecurity and endpoint protection knowledge.
Preferred Certifications
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- Microsoft Certified Fundamentals
- CCNA (Preferred)
