Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project & Commissioning Engineer to manage electrical project execution, installation, testing, and commissioning activities for industrial automation systems. The candidate will coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Execute electrical and automation projects as per project scope and schedule.
- Review electrical drawings, control panel layouts, GA drawings, and cable schedules.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and maintain project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
Installation & Commissioning
- Supervise installation of control panels, MCCs, PLC panels, drives, sensors, and field instruments.
- Perform testing and commissioning of electrical and automation systems at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues during commissioning.
- Conduct loop checking, I/O checking, and functional testing.
- Support PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and servo system commissioning activities.
- Prepare commissioning reports and handover documents.
Client Coordination
- Coordinate with customers for site readiness, shutdown planning, and commissioning schedules.
- Attend project review meetings and provide technical updates.
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
Safety & Quality
- Follow company safety procedures and site safety guidelines.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained during installation and commissioning activities.
- Identify project risks and recommend corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation.
- Understanding of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to travel for site commissioning activities.
Preferred Technical Knowledge
- PLCs: Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron, Schneider, etc.
- SCADA/HMI systems.
- Servo drives and VFDs.
- Industrial sensors and instrumentation.
- AutoCAD/EPLAN electrical drawings.
Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in electrical project execution and commissioning in the automation industry.
Working Conditions
- Frequent travel to customer sites and industrial locations.
- Ability to work during shutdowns and extended commissioning hours when required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
