Cashier & Store SupervisorRole & Responsibilities
- Handle daily cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Prepare bills/invoices and maintain proper sales and cash records.
- Manage the cash counter and ensure daily cash reconciliation.
- Supervise day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and daily work responsibilities.
- Assist customers with product information, billing, exchanges, and general queries.
- Ensure proper display, arrangement, and cleanliness of products in the store.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the team regarding stock requirements.
- Check incoming and outgoing products and maintain accurate records.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve routine issues.
- Ensure store policies and procedures are followed by all staff.
- Prepare daily sales and cash reports for management.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for customers.
- Support the store manager/management with daily operational tasks.
Skills Required
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and billing software experience.
- Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records.
- Leadership and team-management skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and well-organized.
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or store supervision is preferred.
