Operation Theatre Duties:
- Prepare the operation theatre (OT) before each surgery with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by handing instruments and managing sterile field.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of surgical tools and OT environment.
- Maintain OT inventory and restock consumables as needed.
- Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any faults for immediate attention.
- Handle patient positioning, draping, and basic preoperative preparation.
- Dispose of waste and used materials according to infection control protocols.
Anaesthesia-Related Duties:
- Assist anaesthesiologist in preparing and monitoring anaesthesia equipment and machines (e.g., ventilators, monitors, suction devices).
- Prepare medications, IV lines, and anaesthesia cart as per requirement.
- Monitor patient vitals and report to the anaesthesiologist during the procedure.
- Ensure post-anaesthesia recovery support until the patient is stable and transferred.
