We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations within the assigned territory. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing channel partners, developing customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of sales targets in the designated area.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
- Manage and support distributors, dealers, and retailers to improve market penetration.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Lead and guide the sales executives/field sales team in the territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Ensure proper product visibility and execution of promotional activities.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer relationships.
- Track sales performance and prepare periodic reports.
- Ensure timely payment collections and maintain healthy receivables.
- Coordinate with internal teams for inventory, supply chain, and marketing support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–7 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Retail, or related industries.
- Experience in channel sales and territory management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned area.
