Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and strategic Creative Director to lead the production of engaging short-form video content for our school's digital platforms. The ideal candidate will conceptualize, direct, and oversee the creation of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook videos, and other social media content that highlights the school's culture, student achievements, events, academics, and campus life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative concepts and content strategies for short-form videos across social media platforms.
- Plan, script, storyboard, and direct school reels and promotional videos.
- Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and platform best practices.
- Coordinate with students, teachers, and staff during video shoots.
- Direct on-camera talent and ensure high-quality storytelling.
- Collaborate with videographers, photographers, editors, and the marketing team to produce engaging content.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand voice across all digital content.
- Create content calendars aligned with school events, admissions campaigns, and celebrations.
- Review and approve final edits before publication.
- Analyze content performance and optimize future campaigns using insights and analytics.
- Ensure all content complies with school policies and student privacy guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media, Marketing, Film, Design, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in creative direction, social media content creation, digital marketing, or video production.
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
Required Skills
- Strong storytelling and creative thinking.
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and current social media trends.
- Scriptwriting and content planning skills.
- Leadership and project management abilities.
- Basic understanding of videography, photography, lighting, and editing workflows.
- Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar creative software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines while maintaining quality.
