YouTube & Instagram Content Intern
Job Description
LevelUp IAS is looking for a YouTube & Instagram Content Executive to support the creation and execution of video-first content across our digital platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who understands social media content, has a good eye for identifying strong moments from videos, and can work closely with the content, video, and social media teams to turn raw material into platform-ready content.
You will be working especially on YouTube and Instagram content, helping the team with content selection, clipping direction, content coordination, and platform-focused execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch long-form videos, lectures, podcasts, and other raw content to identify strong, relevant, and engaging segments
- Support the team in creating content ideas for YouTube videos, Shorts, Instagram Reels, and posts
- Help in planning and organizing content for YouTube and Instagram
- Coordinate with video editors, designers, and content team members for execution
- Identify hooks, interesting moments, valuable clips, and audience-relevant portions from videos
- Assist in content repurposing for different platforms and formats
- Help maintain consistency, quality, and relevance in published content
Eligibility / Requirements
- Good understanding of YouTube, Instagram, Reels, Shorts, and social media content formats
- Ability to identify engaging moments, strong hooks, and useful content from videos
- Strong sense of what works on digital platforms and what can capture audience attention
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with content workflows
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Familiarity with the education or UPSC space is a plus
- Freshers with strong interest and understanding of content may apply
- Candidates with up to 1 year of experience in content, social media, video support, or related roles may also apply
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of content repurposing and short-form content strategy
- Interest in digital storytelling, audience engagement, and content trends
- Ability to work closely with editors and social media teams
- Familiarity with YouTube and Instagram content ecosystems
