Role description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Technical, hands-on implementation and advanced support consultant with insurance carrier expertise.
- Responsible for client implementations, configuration and development; advanced production support, enhancements, defect resolution, and customer support.
- Manage and/or work with many clients directly and indirectly in all phases of the client life cycle.
- Understand technical, educational, business management, internal responsibilities, and maintain accountability with assistance from management and peers.
Key Qualifications
- Hands-on technical design, development, configuration and implementation of XML, JQuery, Javascript, HTML5, CSS, applications
- Has systems implementation and client systems integration experience
- Has database/SQL experience
- Has previous relevant development experience (at least 4 years)
- Able to learn fast, work independently and highly motivated, self-starter
- Able to work with client and product teams to help come up with product and solution designs
- Able to grasp client business processes, procedures, workflows and process nuances
- Able to configure the product or system to fit client specific needs (business process, workflows, reports)
- Able to gather client feedback, create documentation and communicate with the product team
- Has good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot, reverse engineer, provide production support services and adhere to SLAs
- Some knowledge of Origami platform is highly desirable
- Some knowledge of US Property and Casualty Insurance is an advantage
