BACKGROUND
The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.
Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 35 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organisations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.
GENERAL
Location of Job: Punjab
Type of Employment: 1-year contractual, renewable basis of performance

Reporting to: Level 1 – Manager-Programme, Level 2 – Regional Senior Manager
2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Overall Supervision and monitoring of all MMUs which include –
-
Ensuring each MMU is operational as per the plan.

Ensuring supply chain

Ensuring the regularity of the MMU staff
-
Periodically inspect the Mobile Medical Unit and the area of operation & cross checks the activities in the field.
Ensuring patients’ safety and the team is following the rules and policies.

Managing State office and monitoring of cluster offices

Ensuring timely payment of water, electricity bill and remuneration of the cleaning staff

Ensuring periodic maintenance of all the equipment
-
Take appropriate actions in case of any medical emergencies and outbreaks.
Data management:
- Maintaining and updating all the data base

Coordination with cluster offices and timely reporting to Dehradun office in prescribed formats.

Coordinating with project coordinators and raising indents for the supplies

Periodically examines the records maintained by the Mobile Medical Units at cluster offices.

Managing staff.
Ensuring team is following rules and regulations.
- Networking and liasioning with Local Panchayat and Health Department

Networking and lesioning with CMOs for the route chart of the MMUs
3. Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications: Graduate in any discipline/Master in social work
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioural, Language, Certifications etc.)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health and Development sector
- Preferably from Social Development sector
- Computer Skills: Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
- Knowledge in handling Mobile Medical Unit will be preferred.
- Interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
