Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of project purchasing, from initial vendor quoting to final on-site installation. You will collaborate closely with our design and project management teams to ensure that all materials, furnishings, and finishes meet the design intent, stay within budget, and arrive on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Quoting: Research and evaluate potential suppliers for high-end furnishings, lighting, and custom millwork.
- Order Management: Create and process purchase orders (POs), managing deposits, and verifying order confirmations for data accuracy.
- Logistics Coordination: Track production schedules and lead times; coordinate freight, transportation, and delivery logistics with vendors and site teams.
- Quality Control: Inspect delivered items for damages or discrepancies; document issues with photo reports and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Financial Oversight: Meticulously track project budgets in Excel or ERP systems; reconcile costs including shipping and surcharges.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and build strong professional relationships with local and international luxury vendors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a design-led environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD; experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., DesignManager, Studio Designer) is a major asset.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a methodical approach to tracking multiple project workstreams simultaneously.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with vendors and presenting updates to clients.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
