Job Summary
We are looking for a Clinic Pharmacist to manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic pharmacy. The role will be responsible for accurate dispensing of medicines, patient counseling, prescription handling, inventory management, expiry control, regulatory compliance, and maintaining pharmacy records.
The pharmacist will work closely with doctors, clinic staff, procurement, and patients to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-friendly pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately against OPD prescriptions and explain dosage and usage to patients.
- Review prescriptions for completeness, dosage, potential errors, and drug interactions.
- Provide patient counseling regarding medication usage, precautions, side effects, and storage.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and clinic pharmacy supplies.
- Monitor stock movement, expiry dates, near-expiry medicines, damaged stock, and returns.
- Prepare timely stock and procurement requirements and coordinate with the Procurement team.
- Maintain accurate purchase, sales, dispensing, and inventory records.
- Ensure medicines are stored properly as per prescribed temperature, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain pharmacy documentation and support compliance with Drug License, State Pharmacy Council, FDA/Drug Control, and other applicable requirements.
- Coordinate with doctors and clinic staff regarding medicine availability and patient requirements.
- Support ethical pharmacy sales and revenue growth while maintaining patient safety and service quality.
- Maintain daily/weekly pharmacy MIS and reports using MS Excel and pharmacy/ERP software.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of the clinic pharmacy.
- Assist in training and supervising pharmacy assistants/support staff.
Qualifications & Experience
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration is mandatory.
- 2–4 years of experience in clinic, hospital, or retail pharmacy.
- Prior experience in OPD/clinic pharmacy operations will be preferred.
- MS Excel knowledge is mandatory.

The ideal candidate should be patient-focused, responsible, accurate, and comfortable working in a clinic environment. The person should be able to independently manage pharmacy operations while coordinating effectively with doctors, clinic staff, patients, and the procurement team.
Pay: ₹13,047.83 - ₹18,000.00 per month
