Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, analyze, and improve mechanical components, equipment, and systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering designs, 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and technical documentation while working closely with production, quality, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, machines, and equipment.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Develop manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOM).
- Perform engineering calculations and feasibility studies.
- Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure designs meet functional, safety, quality, and project requirements.
- Apply GD&T standards and engineering drawing practices.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of designs.
- Support prototype development, testing, validation, and design modifications.
- Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
- Maintain proper design documentation and revision control.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams whenever required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and quality requirements.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
