Job Description:
We are seeking highly skilled Workday Extend & Integration Developers to join our team in Bengaluru or Hyderabad. This role requires deep expertise in Workday HCM with a strong focus on custom application development using Workday Extend and integration solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing custom applications, orchestrations, and integrations that extend Workday's capabilities to meet complex business requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Workday APIs, data transformation, and production deployments, working closely with stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of overall Workday HCM experience with deep functional and technical knowledge
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend and custom application development
- Proven experience designing and developing custom applications using Workday Extend and Orchestration
- Strong proficiency with Workday APIs including REST and SOAP web services
- Expert-level skills in XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and JSON for data transformation and manipulation
- Experience with data transformation using RAAS (Report as a Service) for API-related solutions
- Hands-on experience with WQL (Workday Query Language) queries and optimization
- Must have experience with application deployment to production environments
- Experience configuring Business Processes and Security (ISU and ISSG) in Workday
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Workday Extend to meet complex business requirements
- Build and configure Workday Orchestrations to automate business processes and integrate with external systems
- Develop and maintain integrations using Workday APIs (REST and SOAP) for seamless data exchange
- Perform data transformation and manipulation using XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and JSON technologies
- Implement RAAS-based solutions for API integrations and custom reporting requirements
- Write and optimize WQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing
- Manage end-to-end application deployment lifecycle from development to production
- Configure and maintain Business Processes and Security settings including ISU (Integration System User) and ISSG (Integration System Security Group)
- Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday Extend applications and integrations
- Stay current with Workday platform updates and implement best practices for custom development
