About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who has built and scaled consumer-facing mobile products. This role goes beyond creating beautiful interfaces, you'll own the complete design lifecycle, from understanding user problems and defining experiences to shipping polished products and leading a growing design team.
You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to create intuitive, impactful experiences while establishing strong design standards across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design process from user research and problem definition to wireframing, prototyping, visual design, usability testing, and product launch.
- Design intuitive, user-centric experiences for a consumer-facing mobile application.
- Translate business objectives and user insights into simple, scalable, and engaging product experiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Establish and maintain design principles, interaction patterns, and design systems to ensure consistency across the product.
- Use user research, usability testing, analytics, and customer feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers, providing regular feedback and ensuring design excellence.
- Conduct design reviews and champion best practices across the design function.
- Ensure designs are implemented accurately by working closely with engineering throughout the development process.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in Product Design.
- Proven experience designing consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Strong experience owning the entire product design lifecycle, from discovery and ideation through launch and iteration.
- Experience working on consumer internet (B2C) products. B2B product experience will not be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex user problems with thoughtful, data-informed design solutions.
- Experience building, maintaining, and evolving design systems.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Business teams.
- Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing a team of designers.
- Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, accessibility, and user-centered design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on high-scale consumer products with large active user bases.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, design execution, and measurable business impact.
- Experience in fast-paced, product-led organizations.
Compensation: Up to ₹18 LPA (based on experience and fit).
Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
