About the Role
Saphar Travels is looking for an enthusiastic and goal-oriented Junior Travel Consultant to join our team in Mumbai. In this role, you will interact directly with travelers, understand their holiday requirements, design customized itineraries, and convert prospective leads into confirmed bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Lead Conversion: Respond promptly to incoming traveler inquiries via phone, WhatsApp, and email. Understand guest preferences, budget, and travel style to recommend the right trip options.
- Itinerary & Quotation Design: Create detailed, engaging, and clear holiday itineraries and price quotes for domestic and international destinations.
- Supplier Coordination: Coordinate directly with local destination management companies (DMCs), hotel partners, and transport providers to reserve accommodations, activities, and transfers.
- Guest Support: Provide pre-trip briefings and offer assistance to travelers before and during their journey to ensure a smooth, memorable travel experience.
- CRM & Record Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date client interaction notes, lead statuses, and booking data in our CRM/management sheets.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in travel sales, customer service, or hospitality (Freshers with a strong passion for travel are welcome).
- Skills:
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Familiarity with major Indian and international travel destinations.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and messaging tools.
- Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills, sales orientation, and high attention to detail.
- Work Mode: Full-time, in-person role at our Mumbai office.
Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month (commensurate with skills/experience).
- Performance Bonus : Performance-based monthly/quarterly bonuses based on booking conversions and revenue targets.
