Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and evaluate used vehicles for mechanical, electrical, body, and cosmetic condition before purchase or exchange.
- Conduct road tests and identify issues related to engine performance, transmission, suspension, brakes, and other critical systems.
- Assess vehicle history, accident records, service history, ownership details, and overall marketability.
- Determine fair market value and recommend purchase prices based on condition, demand, and prevailing market trends.
- Verify documents such as RC, insurance, pollution certificate, loan closure/NOC, and service records.
- Prepare detailed evaluation reports with photographs and upload data into the dealership's evaluation system.
- Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and refurbishment teams to ensure smooth vehicle acquisition and resale.
- Negotiate exchange values with customers while maintaining transparency and delivering a positive customer experience.
- Monitor used car market trends, competitor pricing, and inventory movement to support accurate valuations.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all evaluations.
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Degree in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in used car evaluation, service, or dealership operations (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered).
- Valid LMV driving licence with confidence in test-driving vehicles.
- Good understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair estimation.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with vehicle evaluation software or mobile applications.
Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
