Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and alert Material Gate Executive / Control Room Operator to manage material movement, gate operations, vehicle entry/exit, and control room monitoring activities at the manufacturing plant of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles Limited. The candidate should ensure smooth coordination, safety compliance, and accurate documentation of all inward and outward movements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control all incoming and outgoing materials at the factory gate.
- Verify gate passes, invoices, delivery challans, and material documents.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle movement and dispatch details.
- Coordinate with stores, logistics, production, and security teams.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and control room systems continuously.
- Report any abnormal activity, emergency, or security issue immediately.
- Ensure compliance with company safety and security procedures.
- Maintain daily reports, registers, and shift handover records.
- Handle visitor and transport vehicle coordination professionally.
- Communicate through telephone, walkie-talkie, and email when required.
- Support emergency response activities during incidents or alarms.
Requirements
- Any Degree / Diploma / ITI / BA/ BE / BSC / HSC qualification.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Email, Data Entry).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in manufacturing industry / logistics / security operations preferred.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring and gate operations is an added advantage.
