Purpose of the Job
The Design & Development Executive is responsible for designing, developing, and improving electric motors and their components based on customer requirements and company standards. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, supporting new product development (NPD), validating designs, and coordinating with production, quality, and purchase departments to ensure successful product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new electric motors and related components.
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, and engineering documents.
- Support prototype manufacturing and product validation.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Sales departments during new product development.
- Analyze product failures and recommend design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and customer specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, product specifications, and design documentation.
- Participate in design reviews, cost reduction, and value engineering activities.
- Maintain revision control for drawings and technical documents.
- Support testing, type testing, and product certification activities.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
