We are URGENTLY seeking a dedicated, punctual, and responsible Preschool Cook to join our team. You will prepare nutritious meals for young children while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Job Overview
- Position: Preschool Cook
- Report To: Center Directress
- Salary Range: ₹8,000 – ₹13,000 per month (based on experience and shift)
- Location: Vyalikaval, Malleshwaram, 13th Cross
Working Hours & Shifts
- Half-Day Shift: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
- Full-Day Shift: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Key ResponsibilitiesMeal Preparation & Timing
- Cook healthy breakfast, lunch, and evening snacks daily.
- Strict adherence to school meal schedules and timelines.
Hygiene & Kitchen Maintenance
- Maintain absolute cleanliness in the kitchen area.
- Sanitize cooking utensils, plates, and surfaces daily.
- Follow strict food safety and personal hygiene practices.
Inventory & Management
- Manage and organize all kitchen inventory and groceries.
- Track stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Request supplies in advance through the Center Directress
Compliance & Reporting
- Report directly to the Center Directress.
- Adhere strictly to all school rules and regulations.
- Maintain a punctual and dependable attendance record.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience cooking in a school, daycare, or commercial setting. Freshers are also welcome
- Deep understanding of child nutrition and food safety practices.
- Ability to manage time efficiently to meet strict serving schedules.
- Strong sense of responsibility, patience, and love for children.
- Basic literacy to track inventory lists and recipes.
