1. HR Operations
- Manage joining formalities of new employees including documentation, induction, and coordination with respective departments.
- Maintain and regularly update employee master data, personal files, and statutory records.
- Monitor probation completion and issue confirmation letters based on performance feedback.
- Prepare and analyze monthly HR MIS reports (new joiners, separations, headcount, attrition).
- Conduct exit interviews and ensure completion of exit formalities.
- Coordinate and ensure timely Full & Final settlements for resigned employees.
- Support line managers in addressing employee grievances, discipline, and basic IR matters at the site.
2. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate attendance and timekeeping (employees and contract labour).
- Ensure timely processing and disbursement of wages, salaries, incentives, and variable pay.
- Verify and ensure strict compliance with Minimum Wages Act for all employees and contract workers.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and challans under applicable labour laws.
- Ensure compliance with, but not limited to:
- Factories Act
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act
- Employees’ Provident Fund & ESIC
- Payment of Bonus Act
- Payment of Gratuity Act
- Employees Compensation Act
- Coordinate and support during labour inspections, audits, and statutory inquiries.
- Liaise with local labour authorities, PF, ESIC, and Factory Inspector offices.
3. Liaisoning & Statutory Approvals
Coordinate and follow up with consultants and authorities for statutory approvals and renewals including:
- GIDC and Factory Inspector approvals
- Factory License and renewals
- BOCW registration (if applicable)
- GPCB – Consent to Establish (CTE) & Consent to Operate (CTO)
- Fire NOC
- CCA renewal
Maintain a statutory compliance calendar and ensure timely renewals.
Support management during plant audits and government visits.
