Job Summary:
The Microbiology Officer is responsible for conducting microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards in the manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, water, and finished products
- Conduct environmental monitoring activities
- Prepare and maintain microbial cultures and media
- Perform microbial limit tests and pathogen testing
- Maintain laboratory records, reports, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, GLP, and quality standards
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Investigate microbiological deviations and out-of-specification results
- Support internal and external audits
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of microbiological testing techniques
- Understanding of GMP, GLP, and laboratory practices
- Good documentation and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office)
Qualification:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field
Experience:
- 1–4 years of experience in Microbiology Laboratory / QA / QC Department
- Freshers with relevant qualifications can also apply
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
