About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic IoT & Embedded Systems Intern who is passionate about electronics, embedded programming, and hardware prototyping. In this role, you will work on designing, building, testing, and deploying IoT devices while gaining hands-on experience with embedded firmware, PCB design, sensors, wireless communication, and low-power systems. You'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers throughout the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review basic electronic circuits by selecting components and interpreting datasheets.
- Assist in PCB design, layout, and validation using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Assemble, solder, and test prototype PCBs (SMD and through-hole components).
- Develop and debug embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems.
- Integrate and test various analog and digital sensors.
- Work with communication technologies such as LoRa, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular, and MQTT.
- Interface with industrial communication protocols like RS485/Modbus and serial interfaces.
- Assist in optimizing power consumption using battery management, DC-DC converters, and low-power firmware techniques.
- Perform hardware debugging using lab equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Support field testing, device validation, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with hardware and software teams.

Skills & Qualifications Required
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, ECE, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and components.
- Familiarity with embedded C/C++ programming.
- Understanding of communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Basic knowledge of PCB design tools.
- Willingness to learn hardware debugging and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ESP32, Arduino, or STM32 development.
- Hands-on experience with soldering and PCB assembly.
- Exposure to MQTT, LoRa, RS485/Modbus, or wireless communication.
- Personal projects involving IoT, robotics, home automation, or embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Git or version control systems.

Pay: ₹11,008.93 - ₹39,409.87 per month
