Job Brief – VIDEO EDITOR
We are looking for a Young, Passionate, and Creative Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing photos and videos for internal and external purposes. You may work independently or on a team depending on the size of the project, using your communication skills to work effectively with the director and producers.
Candidates should be familiar with video editing software, like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop etc.
This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the finished result. You'll usually work closely with the director to achieve the desired end result.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Meeting with the Director/Influencer to determine and understand the Vision of the Project.
- Reviewing raw material to determine the shot list.
- Working on films and video footage using modern editing techniques.
- Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
- Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
- Ensuring that the video/project given should meet the given timelines.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Edit videos to post on various social media platforms including YOUTUBE to create an engaging end product.
- Use the latest animation techniques and info graphic elements to enhance the video
quality.
- Maintain Brand consistency in videos in regards to animations, effects and overall theme.
- Stay up-to-date with current creative and technical trends.
- Ability to take feedback and respond with changes accordingly.
- Work with team and external agencies for video creation and modification.
QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is recommended.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Should have good knowledge of Video Editing and Motion Graphics.
- Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere etc.
- Should have some knowledge of camera and equipment, experience in video capturing and cinematography will be plus.
- Able to visualize and create output according to script.
- Meet deadlines, deliver on time, and ensure high-end quality.
- Open to acquire extensive new technical knowledge.
- Creative and Artistic Skills.
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
