Duties and Responsibilities of a Purchase Coordinator in Ideal Decor
Procurement Management
- Source and procure furniture, decorative items, materials, and accessories based on design team requirements.
- Ensure purchases align with project budgets and timelines.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all decor items and materials.
- Organize storage areas to ensure easy access and safe handling of items.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain purchase records, supplier invoices, and delivery documentation.
- Prepare regular procurement reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal procurement requirements.
Logistics & Delivery Management
- Manage transportation and logistics for ordered items.
- Track shipments and handle import/export documentation if applicable.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
