Job Summary
Hindustan Iron & Sponge Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager – Power Plant Operations to lead and oversee the overall operation of the captive power plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and uninterrupted power generation while achieving operational and production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the overall operations of the Power Plant.
- Ensure optimum performance of Boilers, Turbines, Generators, and auxiliary systems.
- Monitor plant efficiency, fuel consumption, and generation parameters.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead and guide operation teams, shift in-charges, and supervisors.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with maintenance, electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.
- Review operational reports, analyze performance data, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and company policies.
- Manage manpower planning, training, and development of plant personnel.
- Handle emergency situations and ensure minimum downtime.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Power Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Power Plant Operations.
- Experience in WHRB, AFBC, CFBC Boilers, Turbine Operations, and Captive Power Plants.
- Experience in Sponge Iron, Steel, Cement, or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of power plant operations and troubleshooting.
- Excellent planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
