Job Summary
Morakhia Copper & Alloys Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities in our Copper Tubes manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in copper tube manufacturing processes, shop floor management and manpower supervision while ensuring production targets, product quality and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities and ensure smooth shop floor operations.
- Monitor production planning and ensure achievement of daily production targets.
- Supervise operators, helpers and shift manpower effectively.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs and safety procedures.
- Monitor production parameters to minimize rejection, rework and material wastage.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Stores and Production Planning departments.
- Ensure proper machine utilization and report machine breakdowns to the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain production records, shift reports and daily production reports.
- Monitor housekeeping and implement 5S practices across the production area.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain workplace discipline.
- Support continuous process improvement to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Copper Tubes, Copper Products, Metal Manufacturing or Engineering Industry.
- Strong knowledge of copper tube manufacturing processes, production planning and shop floor operations.
- Good leadership, communication and team management skills.
- Ability to handle production manpower and achieve production targets.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Copper Tube Manufacturing Process.
- Experience in Draw Bench, Pilger, Press, Pickling or Tube Manufacturing operations.
- Understanding of Quality Control and Production Documentation.
- Knowledge of 5S, Safety Standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, if required.

We are looking for a disciplined and proactive production professional who has practical experience in copper tube manufacturing and can independently manage production activities, manpower, quality compliance and shop floor discipline while contributing to the Company's production and business objectives.
