- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and provide management with updates on sales performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns that align with sales goals.
- Customer Support: Provide support to customers before, during, and after the sales process. Address any customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Attend Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and generate leads.
- Sales Training: Continuously update your knowledge and skills through training sessions provided by the company.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, education, or a related field. While not always mandatory, a relevant degree can be beneficial.
Sales Experience:
Proven work experience as a sales representative, ideally in the education or technology sector. Experience in the education technology (EdTech) industry is highly valued.
Understanding of EdTech:
Familiarity with the education technology sector, including knowledge of learning management systems, educational software, digital content, and other relevant products.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining customer relationships.
Sales Skills:
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, develop and implement sales strategies, and drive revenue growth.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfort and proficiency with technology, as well as the ability to quickly learn about new products and industry trends.
Customer-Centric Approach:
A customer-focused mindset, dedicated to providing excellent service and support to clients.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to interpret sales performance data and make adjustments to the sales strategy as needed.
Team Player:
Capable of collaborating with marketing, customer support, and other teams to drive overall company goals.
Travel Flexibility:
Depending on the company, willingness to travel to meet with clients and represent the company at industry events may be required.
