Role Summary
The HR Executive – Recruitment will be responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition activities including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and maintaining recruitment MIS. This role demands a proactive individual with strong communication skills, an eye for talent, and familiarity with recruitment best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer roll-out.
- Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, and referrals.
- Draft and post compelling job descriptions for various positions across departments.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future requirements.
Screening & Selection
- Conduct initial telephonic/HR screening rounds to evaluate candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and schedule technical, functional, and managerial interview rounds.
- Evaluate resumes and shortlist candidates based on defined job criteria.
- Negotiate and extend offer letters in coordination with the HR Manager.
Onboarding & Documentation
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes including documentation, induction scheduling, and system access.
- Ensure all pre-joining formalities, background verification, and document collection are completed.
- Coordinate joining kits, ID card issuance, and orientation sessions for new hires.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Experience
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment.
- Exposure to hiring for diverse roles including IT, non-IT, clinical, or operations profiles.
- Prior experience in a hospital, healthcare, or manufacturing setup is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in job portals: Naukri.com, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Shine.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for reporting and communication.
- Familiarity with HRMS / ATS tools for candidate tracking.
Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High sense of ownership, proactiveness, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR data with discretion.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience handling bulk hiring / volume recruitment drives.
- Knowledge of basic labour laws and statutory compliances (PF, ESI, Shops Act).
- Exposure to payroll inputs and HR operations will be a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions simultaneously across departments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Time to Fill: Average days to close open positions within agreed TAT.
- Offer Acceptance Rate: % of candidates who accept offers extended.
- Joining Ratio: % of offered candidates who actually join on date.
- Quality of Hire: Retention rate of recruits at 3-month and 6-month mark.
- Recruiter Efficiency: Number of positions closed per month.
