About Us
Paperboat Design Studios is a creative animation and design studio specializing in animated series, films, commercials, explainer videos, and AI-assisted content production. We are looking for a talented 2D Animator who is passionate about storytelling and can bring characters and scenes to life through high-quality animation.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 2D character and object animations.
- Animate scenes based on storyboards and animatics.
- Maintain consistency in animation quality and character performance.
- Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, designers, and editors.
- Deliver projects within production deadlines.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
Requirements
- 2 years of professional experience in 2D animation.
- Strong understanding of the 12 Principles of Animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Good understanding of character acting, lip-sync, timing, spacing, and body mechanics.
- Ability to work from storyboards and animatics.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- A demo reel or portfolio showcasing your best animation work is mandatory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on animated series or children's content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and compositing.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows is an added advantage.
