A retail garment salesperson is responsible for greeting customers, providing personalized fashion advice, and driving sales to meet targets. Key duties include maintaining store appearance, managing inventory, processing transactions, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and in-depth product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Actively approach customers, identify needs, provide styling advice, and assist with fitting rooms.
- Sales Generation: Achieve individual and team sales targets by upselling and cross-selling garments.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the store tidy, organized, and adequately stocked with inventory. Cleaning counter and inventory organized
- Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of fashion trends, new arrivals, and garment care instructions.
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail or fashion apparel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, helpful demeanor with a passion for fashion.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
