We are looking for a Technical Expert with experience in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry to join our ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect) Consultancy team in Faridabad.
The selected candidate will support MSME manufacturing units in implementing quality, productivity, safety, energy, environment, and process improvement initiatives under the ZED Certification Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit client manufacturing units for technical assessment and implementation.
- Study manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and implement SOPs, process flow charts, inspection plans, and control plans.
- Support implementation of Quality, Cost, Delivery (QCD) improvement projects.
- Conduct internal audits related to Quality, Safety, 5S, Environment, and Energy.
- Assist in preparing documentation for ZED certification.
- Monitor defect, rejection, rework, and productivity data.
- Coordinate with clients and provide technical guidance during implementation.
- Prepare reports and maintain project documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement tools.
- Understanding of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA, and basic Quality Management Systems.
- Good communication and report preparation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations in and around Faridabad.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or ZED Certification is an added advantage.
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
