Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and target-driven Team Leader – Admissions to lead and mentor a team of Admission Counselors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving student enrollments, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring the team delivers an exceptional counseling experience. This role requires strong leadership, sales expertise, and the ability to build a high-performing admissions team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Admission Counselors.
- Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets.
- Conduct team huddles, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews.
- Foster a high-performance and goal-oriented work culture.
Admissions & Revenue
- Drive team admission and revenue targets.
- Improve lead-to-admission conversion rates through effective coaching.
- Assist the team in closing high-value and priority leads.
Lead Management
- Ensure timely lead assignment and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor the admissions pipeline.
- Work closely with the marketing team to enhance lead quality and conversion.
Sales & Counseling Process
- Ensure compliance with the organization's admission counseling process.
- Monitor call quality and counseling effectiveness.
- Resolve escalated cases and support complex admission queries.
Performance Reporting
- Track admissions, conversions, revenue, and team productivity.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Analyze campaign performance, lead sources, and conversion trends.
Training & Development
- Train and onboard new team members.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, product training, and role-play exercises.
- Continuously develop the team's sales and counseling skills.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Operations teams to achieve enrollment goals.
- Share market insights and process improvements to optimize admissions performance.
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and people management skills.

- Proven experience in sales, counseling, and negotiation.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Eligibility
- 3–6 years of experience in Sales, Admissions, or Business Development.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a sales or admissions team.
- Prior experience in the EdTech industry is preferred.
