Project Manager – Residential Interior Manufacturing
Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering residential interior fit-out and modular furniture projects from design handover through manufacturing, installation, and project completion. The role ensures projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while coordinating with design, production, procurement, logistics, installation teams, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of residential interior manufacturing projects.
- Review design drawings, BOQs, and specifications before project execution.
- Develop detailed project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
- Coordinate with design, production, procurement, quality, logistics, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan manufacturing activities based on project priorities and delivery commitments.
- Monitor procurement of materials and ensure timely availability for production.
- Track production progress and resolve manufacturing bottlenecks.
- Coordinate site measurements, delivery schedules, and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards during manufacturing and installation.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with internal teams and clients.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, and resource utilisation.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Handle client communication, progress reporting, and issue resolution.
- Ensure timely project handover with all quality and documentation requirements completed.
- Prepare project status reports, MIS, and project closure documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Project Management certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in residential interior manufacturing, modular furniture, or interior fit-out projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple residential projects simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating manufacturing, installation, and client-facing activities.
