Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our Tamil Nadu field sales team, drive revenue across 5 territories, and personally manage high-value customer relationships. This is a senior field leadership role reporting directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a team of 5–6 Field Sales Engineers across Chennai, Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy, and Hosur-Bangalore
- Own the regional Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) target and ensure territory-wise KPI achievement
- Build and maintain a 3x sales pipeline; personally close strategic accounts across manufacturing clusters
- Develop market penetration strategies for SIDCO, SIPCOT, and KIADB industrial estates across Tamil Nadu
- Establish and nurture partnerships with CODISSIA, AIEMA, BHELSIA, and DIC networks
- Deliver Yantra 24x7 product demonstrations and technical consultations at key account level
- Drive pilot-to-paid conversion strategy and customer success for top regional accounts
- Submit weekly revenue forecasts, maintain CRM data quality, and present monthly dashboards to CEO
- Recruit, onboard, and develop field sales talent in coordination with the HR/Talent team
- Represent the company at trade fairs, MSME events, and industry association meetings
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of B2B Field Sales experience in Industrial Automation / IIoT / Manufacturing Tech / CNC Equipment / ERP-SaaS
- Minimum 2 years in a team management or senior field sales leadership role
- Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu manufacturing ecosystem and industrial estates
- Fluent in Tamil and English; Kannada is an added advantage
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
- MBA in Sales & Marketing is preferred
- Must have own vehicle and be willing to travel extensively across Tamil Nadu
