We are a growing online dance and fitness academy providing live virtual classes to students across multiple international time zones. We deliver structured, engaging, and highly enjoyable dance sessions in a supportive virtual environment, allowing learners to stay active and explore their creativity from the comfort of their homes.
Role Overview
We are hiring an Online Dance Instructor to conduct regular live virtual classes. Depending on student batches and schedules, this role may include teaching Bollywood dance and dance-fitness formats.
As an Online Dance Instructor, you will conduct live sessions in both group and one-on-one virtual formats. Your responsibility is to guide students through movements clearly, help them improve coordination and confidence, and ensure every class is highly interactive and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Virtual Classes: Conduct live online dance classes tailored for a diverse global student base with varying skill levels.
- Teach Routines: Instruct basic to intermediate dance routines with clear, easy-to-follow step breakdowns.
- Class Management: Maintain proper class structure, including dedicated warm-up, practice times, and cooldowns.
- Engage Students: Encourage active student participation, build rapport, and drive consistent performance.
- Adaptability: Adjust your teaching pace and instructional style based on student comfort and learning speed.
- Track Progress: Provide simple, constructive verbal feedback to help students improve their form and technique.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the internal operations team to maintain high quality and consistency across all classes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a professional, studio, or virtual setting. Experience in teaching dance (Bollywood or related styles) is highly preferred.
- Camera-Ready: Fully comfortable teaching on camera, adapting to, and effectively managing virtual classes.
- Audience Management: Proven ability and patience to work with a diverse virtual classroom, ensuring an inclusive environment.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication skills in English to provide effective instructional cues.
- Technical Requirements: A reliable computer or laptop, a stable high-speed internet connection, and a clear audio/microphone setup suitable for remote instruction.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Schedule Flexibility: Flexible working hours available; classes may be scheduled on weekdays or weekends based on operational needs.
- Workload: Average active teaching time ranges from 4 to 6 hours per day based on batch allocation.
- Work Mode: 100% remote position.
