Responsibilities
- Planning: Create project plans, blueprints, and specifications
- Design: Design frameworks for infrastructure systems
- Construction management: Oversee construction teams, supervise progress, and ensure safety standards are met
- Project management: Schedule projects, monitor delivery, and manage compliance with quality assurance policies
- Risk assessment: Assess potential risks, materials, and costs
- Site investigation: Survey new construction sites and assess existing structures
- Environmental impact: Write environmental impact statements and ensure compliance with environmental directives
- Legal compliance: Ensure compliance with legal guidelines, health and safety requirements, and project specifications
- Communication: Communicate ideas and construction processes to other professionals
