Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage purchasing activities for real estate and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, negotiating prices, coordinating material deliveries, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services required for project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and service providers for construction and real estate projects.
- Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, work orders, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Ensure timely procurement of construction materials such as cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, finishing materials, etc.
- Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and track material consumption.
- Follow up with vendors for delivery timelines and quality compliance.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budget requirements.
- Assist in cost-saving initiatives and vendor performance evaluations.
- Prepare MIS reports related to procurement, purchase status, and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with finance/accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes
- Good understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, and purchase procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/software systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple vendors
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Additional certification in Supply Chain or Procurement is an advantage
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase within real estate, construction, or infrastructure industry
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience handling construction procurement
- Familiarity with local vendor markets and material sourcing
- Strong analytical and cost-control mindset
- Ability to coordinate with site teams and contractors effectively
Salary
As per industry standards and candidate experience.
Pay: ₹19,934.91 - ₹35,905.33 per month
