Key Responsibilities
- Conduct walk-through, detailed, and investment-grade energy audits.
- Analyze electricity, fuel, and utility consumption data.
- Inspect electrical, mechanical, HVAC, lighting, compressed air, and utility systems.
- Identify energy-saving opportunities and estimate potential savings.
- Perform energy measurements using audit instruments (power analyzers, lux meters, thermal imagers, flow meters, etc.).
- Prepare energy balance sheets and calculate energy performance indicators (EnPIs).
- Develop recommendations for energy conservation measures (ECMs) with cost-benefit analysis.
- Prepare audit reports, presentations, and implementation plans.
- Ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support implementation and verification of energy-saving projects.
- Coordinate with clients, plant personnel, and project teams during audits.
- Stay updated on energy management practices, technologies, and government policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Certification as an Energy Auditor or Energy Manager (preferred, where applicable).
- 2–5 years of experience in energy auditing or energy management (entry-level positions may require internships or relevant project experience).
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, boilers, motors, pumps, and compressed air systems.
- Knowledge of energy management systems (ISO 50001).
- Proficiency in energy analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to interpret utility bills and analyze energy consumption trends.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies and sustainability practices.
- Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel for site audits.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
