About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Procurement to lead our procurement and sourcing function for interior fit-out, furniture, and interior product requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, procurement planning, costing, and project-based procurement, with a proven understanding of interior products and fit-out requirements.
The person will be responsible for building a reliable vendor network, ensuring competitive pricing and quality, and managing procurement from requirement identification through final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete procurement and sourcing function for interior fit-out, furniture, and interior products.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and vendors across relevant product categories.
- Source products and materials such as furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, wall finishes, hardware, sanitaryware, decorative products, and other interior materials.
- Understand project BOQs, specifications, drawings, and client requirements to identify appropriate sourcing options.
- Work closely with Projects, Design, Estimation, Sales, and Sourcing teams to plan procurement as per project timelines.
- Identify new vendors and manufacturers to improve pricing, quality, product range, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times, MOQs, warranties, and commercial terms with vendors.
- Evaluate and compare vendor quotations and ensure the best commercial value for every purchase.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with approved project budgets and costing requirements.
- Develop and implement vendor evaluation and performance management systems.
- Monitor vendor quality, delivery schedules, production status, and order commitments.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays.
- Maintain strong relationships with key strategic suppliers and negotiate long-term commercial arrangements.
- Review purchase orders, quotations, vendor contracts, and commercial terms.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, alternate sourcing, value engineering, and product substitution without compromising quality.
- Lead and mentor the procurement and sourcing team and establish clear processes, KPIs, and accountability.
- Maintain procurement MIS covering purchase value, savings, vendor performance, pending orders, lead times, and project-wise procurement status.
- Stay updated on new interior products, materials, manufacturers, market pricing, and sourcing trends.
Mandatory Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Purchase, preferably in interior fit-outs, furniture, interior products, hospitality, or construction.
- Strong hands-on experience in sourcing and vendor development.
- Proven experience in procurement of interior products, furniture, materials, fixtures, finishes, and fit-out requirements.
- Strong understanding of BOQs, specifications, drawings, costing, quotations, and project procurement cycles.
- Excellent vendor negotiation and commercial management skills.
- Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, quality control, lead times, and delivery management.
- Experience managing and leading a procurement/sourcing team.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and procurement requirements simultaneously.
Nice to Have
- Experience handling hospitality, luxury residential, commercial, or large-scale interior projects.
- Existing network of manufacturers and suppliers across India.
- Experience with ERP/procurement software, Excel/Google Sheets, and procurement MIS.
- Experience in international sourcing or export-oriented procurement.
- Understanding of value engineering and alternate product development.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a strategic procurement leader with strong hands-on sourcing experience, an established vendor network, and deep knowledge of interior products and fit-out procurement. The person should be commercially strong, highly organized, proactive, and capable of building a scalable procurement function while ensuring cost, quality, and timely delivery.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
