A financial services organization in the asset management space is looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations to run backend processes, investor lifecycle activities, and cross-functional coordination across investor relations, finance, legal, and tech teams. This role sits within a customer success, service, and operations function and is central to delivering a smooth, compliant, and well-documented investor experience. The position is based in Mumbai and is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited to someone who thrives on process rigor, data accuracy, and team leadership.
What You Will Do
- Handle day-to-day operations related to investor transactions, onboarding, KYC, and documentation.
- Ensure timely processing of investments, payouts, redemptions, and reports.
- Maintain high data accuracy across all operational processes.
- Coordinate with investor relations on onboarding, document verification, and CRM updates.
- Maintain investor records in line with regulatory requirements (SEBI, RERA).
- Act as the internal escalation point for investor-related issues.
- Work with legal and finance teams to ensure investor agreements meet regulatory standards.
- Support audits by maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
- Stay current with relevant regulatory norms and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with technology teams on dashboard testing, improvements, and issue resolution.
- Identify gaps in operational processes and drive improvements.
- Prepare operational dashboards, KPIs, and data reports to support business decisions.
- Coordinate with finance on reconciliations, disbursements, and financial reporting.
- Support marketing and investor relations teams with campaigns, communications, and events.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or operations and brings 3-5 years of operational experience, ideally from real estate or fintech environments. Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SEBI, RERA, and KYC is expected, along with excellent Excel/Google Sheets and CRM skills. Team handling experience is mandatory, as is strong attention to detail and organizational ability. Immediate joiners are preferred, and some travel for work is required.
