A Blocks Nexus is building EnsureInsured, a blockchain-powered insurance verification and enforcement ecosystem designed to modernize insurance compliance, fraud prevention, policy verification, and regulatory enforcement through secure digital infrastructure.
The platform leverages Hyperledger Fabric, cloud-native architecture, mobile applications, government dashboards, insurer integrations, and modern API-driven services to create a trusted ecosystem connecting governments, insurers, enforcement agencies, and citizens.
As we scale our engineering organization, we are seeking an experienced Flutter Mobile Developer to help implement mobile application development.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize modern "AI powered" engineering tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, Windsurf, or equivalent platforms to accelerate development, improve software quality, enhance testing, automate repetitive tasks, and increase engineering productivity. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in "a human plus AI" development environment while maintaining strong software engineering fundamentals, security awareness, and code quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter.
- Build and enhance mobile features, user workflows, and verification experiences.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and external services.
- Implement secure authentication, authorization, and session management mechanisms.
- Develop and maintain QR code scanning, camera, and device-based functionality.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and user experience across Android and iOS platforms.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Ensure mobile applications adhere to security, usability, and quality standards.
- Support application deployment, release management, and app store publishing activities.
Key Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mobile application development using Flutter.
- Strong proficiency in Dart programming language and Flutter framework.
- Experience building and deploying production-grade Android and iOS applications.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and secure data storage mechanisms.
- Familiarity with QR code scanning, camera integrations, and device capabilities.
- Experience using Git and modern software development workflows.
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design practices.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
