Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Products & Solutions Integration and Validation Engineer to ensure all functional compliance and quality assurance of EMS, SCADA and PPC products functionalities on individual product basis and in integrated scenarios as per requirements defined by Product Manager, end customer requirements and grid code requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build product use case scenarios as per requirements from end customer, Product Manager, grid code and engineering and commissioning teams.
- Design and build the required Realtime test setup to do functional validation and quality control of EMS, SCADA and PPC products functionalities on individual product basis and in integrated scenarios.
- Report issues and finding on regular basis to product and R&D teams
- Coordinate with cross functional teams (Product, R&D, engineering, SCADA/EMS, commissioning, QA)
- Ensure products are delivered with at most quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics)
- Minimum 5+ years of products integration and validation experience
- Experience in energy, solar, BESS, SCADA, EMS, or industrial automation & control systems is highly preferred
- Familiar with the functions and technical requirements of core power system platforms including SCADA, EMS, PPC, etc. Proficient in mainstream communication protocols; capable of analyzing communication faults, such as IEC 104, Modbus TCP, OPC and other standard protocols.
- Familiar with Indian grid code and grid compliance test requirements, covering active power, reactive power, voltage, frequency and power factor regulation. Basic knowledge of Linux operating system.
- Knowledgeable about high and low voltage equipment in substations. Understand the operating principle of wind power generation and BESS energy storage systems.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
