Role Overview
You will lead the visual communication function for Utkarsh Global Foundation across digital, print, events, reports, presentations, and campaign collateral.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Ownership and Governance
· Own the day-to-day application of the brand identity across all marketing and communication outputs
· Support the development of brand guidelines and maintain practical brand guidelines covering typography, colour, layouts, imagery, iconography and digital usage
· Create reusable templates and visual systems for recurring needs such as social posts, campaigns, presentations, reports, events and internal communications
· Act as the final design-quality checkpoint before high-visibility assets are released
Digital Assets and Campaigns
· Based on a design brief, develop designs and a visual tone for campaigns, social media, fundraising, awareness, events and programmed communications
· Design assets for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, digital ads, website banners, pop-ups, e-mail signatures and landing pages
· Ensure designs are legible, mobile-first, and appropriate to the audience and cause
Reports, Presentations and Institutional Collateral
· Lead visual design for Annual Reports, impact reports, presentations, proposals, brochures, certificates and institutional decks
· Maintain print-ready production standards, including dimensions, bleed, resolution and colour specifications
Events and On-ground Branding
· Support creation of collateral including backdrops, standees, signage, stage graphics, booths, certificates, banners and any other assets if required for events from time to time
· Coordinate with the Events team and vendors to ensure brand consistency from concept through installation
Candidate Profile
The candidate must have 5 to 8 years of professional graphic design experience in a non-profit (preferred), agency, or brand. They must have a strong portfolio demonstrating campaign thinking in addition to single social media and digital assets.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma and/or Canva expertise is useful. Working knowledge of motion/video tools such as After Effects or Premiere Pro is a strong advantage. Strong typography, layout, visual hierarchy, image selection and presentation-design skills.
Experience creating print-ready artwork and managing vendors is essential. Ability to interpret briefs, ask the right questions and convert complex programmer information into clear visual communication is a must. Sensitivity to ethical representation of beneficiaries, animals and vulnerable communities is strongly preferred.
